Secret Garden

Let your eyes indulge, feasting

On a thousand flowers blooming;

In Nature’s secret garden

Array of colour, blissful delight

Bathing you in delicate light;

The glory of hidden treasure

The birds call and a breeze plays

Sweeping you into the mystery haze;

Of Life’s impressionist painting

  1. I love being in my garden and your thoughts are beautifully expressed in this poem. I would like to reblog this to my site – just to remind people that this is Poetry Month. Thank you!

  2. Reblogged this on MarethMB and commented:
    April – Spring here in Lancashire. I thought that this little poem highlights the joys of being outside taking in everything that Nature has to offer. Not to forget either, that this month is Poetry Month as Mary Adler reminded us!
