When she sang to me, her voice rode the air
The sounds making love to the universe
While her golden hands threaded through my hair
And teasing and tempting she held me tight
When she smiled at me, my soul reached the sky
Leaping and soaring on the wind’s currents
To my fears and worries, I said goodbye
For tonight I refused to be ashamed
She kissed me and stole my heart from my chest
Its fierce quivering betrayed how I felt
And I pulled her firmly against my breast
My reluctant soul surrendered at last
